Murmansk governor announced the death of two sergeants in Ukraine

Two senior sergeants from the Murmansk region, who were carrying out the tasks of a special military operation, were killed in Ukraine. This was announced by the governor of the region Andrey Chibis in VKontakte.

One of the dead— senior sergeant Sergei Shirokikh, he has been serving under a contract since 2013. Second— reserve senior sergeant Ruslan Romanov. He went to the special operation zone as a volunteer because “he did not want to stay away when neo-Nazism flourished near the borders of the country,” Chibis noted.

In early June, the governor announced that in Kharkiv region of Ukraine, soldier Vladimir Ivashkin, who lived in Apatity, died.

Russia has been conducting a military operation in Ukraine since February 24. The Russian Defense Ministry disclosed casualties among the military twice during the special operation. The last time, on March 25, the department reported 1351 dead and 3825 injured.
